Workpackage 6 is to improve the market access as well as smooth settling of innovative growth SMEs from partner metropolises to other regions in the internationalising Baltic Sea area.
WP objectives are to identify, select, develop and pilot synchronised services for the internationalisation needs of innovative growth companies in partner metropolises.
Market Access Points (MAPs), responsible for providing these services, will be developed, set up and put into operation in each partner metropolis. This involves also selection, nomination and training of professional teams and service providers as well as their certification.
WP 6 is in the core of the project to create the Market Access Points and to develop the tools to prepare born global SMEs to the international markets.
As input, WP receives trained SMEs from WP 3 as well as SMEs for cluster cooperation from WP 4. WP is also a transfer point for SMEs accessing financing, especially via cooperation with the JOSEFIN sister project.
WP is led by Culminatum Innovation with extensive experience in selecting, training and supporting innovative SMEs. Additionally, the expertise of the organisations promoting international businesses in the Helsinki Region will be exploited. City of Helsinki works actively for the WP together with Culminatum Innovation. All partners will support the WP and implement its results.
